What I Do:
Blog Writing – blog posts are typically between 800-1500 words and can include keywords for ranking in Google, magnetic headlines to draw people in and a call-to-action at the end of a post.
Website Content – this is the content you see when browsing a website. Website content includes: home pages, about pages, FAQs, product description pages, why us? pages, and more.
Product Descriptions – writing accurate, eye-catching and persuasive language that stands out from your competitors. Includes keywords to increase your brand’s visibility in search engines.
Press Releases – usually a written statement to the media between 400-800 words. It announces your accomplishments, scheduled events, new products, or even sales accomplishments.
Proofing and Editing – there are three types of editing I perform:
- Proofreading – checking for comma misuses, spelling errors, inconsistent capitalisations, etc. Generally no re-writing.
- Basic editing – on top of checking for spelling and punctuation mistakes, I also look for syntactical errors and fact check. Some light re-writing of sentences may be required.
- Developmental editing – more intrusive editing. Entire sentences or paragraphs may be restructured to flow better. New concepts and ideas could also be introduced.
B2B Writing – business to business writing. This content will usually be read by small business owners, marketers, entrepreneurs, or bloggers looking to expand there knowledge in a particular area. These blogs create value for potential customers and help build authority and trust in your business.
